Klark is getting so big and as much as I miss the baby stages I think it just keeps getting better as he gets older. He is so loving and playful. He still is a mama's boy and follows me around like a lost puppy. He is getting really good at giving kisses and hugs. I'm pretty sure his sister taught him that because every night when we tell him its night night time he has to go give his sister a kiss and a hug first. Hem n has become a lot more social as well--he says hi to everyone and just loves all the babies at his day care. He still carries his blanket everywhere and still loves his Elmo doll the most. He has branched out to a few of his sisters babies and a few bears but Elmo is still his favorite. He loves rough housing with his dad and gets this crazy face on when he gets really excited and is about to attack. I hope to get it on camera some day. He is also a great helper. He loves to help me sweep or clean the dishes. His favorite is to put fruit in the bowl after I cut it up after getting it at the store. He pulls up his stool and gets ready. I'm ready for this getting older to slow down a bit :)

Klark's 18 Month Appt
Well Klark had his 18 month appt and has been very consistent when it comes to being off the charts for head and height and in the 75% for his weight. He had to get one shot and did really good. He seemed to know what was coming--he had to get down to his diaper and after he got finished getting measured he wanted his shoes on. So he was in his diaper and shoes waiting for Dr. Sims, well actually he was trying to sneak out :). He's such a doll and was flirting with all of the nurses. Klark was 3' tall and 28.8 lbs. He is def my sweet big boy. No more shots till 4!! I'm not if I'm more excited or Klark.
Baby Mason

Sweet little Baby Mason was born a couple weeks early on July 6th. Danielle and I talked about going swimming the night before at Holmes. Danielle said I'll proably see you there. When she didn't show up I didn't think anything of it, but I was so surprised when I found out the next morning that my kids had a new friend! Klark and I went and visited him in the hospital and of course Danielle looks great and Mason is as sweet as could be. Klark was a little sad Ava wasn't there, but he seemed to like Mason just fine. Especially since they share the same middle name :). Congrats Bonzers!

Happy 4th Of July
We spent a fun Saturday with friends at Lake Ponderosa and then came home to get our babes. Sunday we started the day off on a walk and then headed to Reinbeck for a parade, grilling, and going to the park. Both kids loved the parade and are both really good at waving--the candy was an added bonus!

Klark's 1st Swim Lesson
I snuck up quick to watch do Klark's first swim lesson at Beaver Hills. I made sure he couldn't see me so I wouldn't interupt anything. He was having fun tossing the rings and going and get them. He seemed to really like, all the kids were having fun! I have a feeling I have another fishy on my hands!

Parade Season
Last year Kenady and I went to a lot of parades so we wanted Klark to join in the fun this year. We went to the My Waterloo Day parade and it was long and hot--but they enjoyed it for the first hour or so. It was fun at the end they got to see Uncle John and Aunt Tanya and Liza and Carter who were walking for John's niece Kylie. That was the highlight since they don't toss candy out at the parade.

The Circus is in Town and Messy Mornings!
So I know I've said this a lot, but the kids have the BEST day care. Last months theme was the circus so they ended the month having a carnival. There was a cake walk, duck pond, fishing, and bean bag toss. They got some "awesome" prizes as Kenady said including some cool shades. The next day they got to go to messy mornings at the Hearst Center. Kenady made me a bracelet and told me she made it just for me. It was awesome. I never thought a few beads and spool with a string would be the most beautiful bracelet I have recieved. Nick took the morning off to be a volunteer. He informed me he was the only man there, but seemed to have fun and was able to snap some pictures for me.

Memorial Day Weekend
What's Memorial Day Weekend without some fishing and catching worms. We went to Wal-Mart to get Klark's first fishing pool. We told him he could pick one out and he picked out the exact same one his sister already had. A sponge bob fishing pole. They were so cute trying to catch fish (with no bait). Then we had some good camping food and then it was time to find some worms for mud pies for dessert. Usually I go crazy when they get dirty like that but they were having so much fun digging in the dirt with cousin Cass.

Happy Birthday Daddy and Sesame Stree Live 2nd Time Around
Nick probably didn't have the most exciting birthday weekend with me working on a Saturday for IB Weekend and then going to Sesasme Street Live the next day. I think he had fun though hanging with the kids. This was Klark's first experience with Sesame Street live and Kenadys 2nd. Kenady and her friends Ava and Estelle all went last year and had a great time. This year we brought the dad's and Klarky. All the kids had a great time and Klark loved loved loved seeing Elmo. Estelle and Kenady acted like little groupies dancing in the aisles. Kenady even got to give a high five to Baby Bear which she still talks about 2 weeks later. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad we got to share it with the whole family and good friends!

17 Months...
It's hard to believe my little man is almost a year and half old. This month he has changed so much...he is starting to talk a lot more and copy what you do. He continues to love girls and is still a mama's boy and I'm still okay with it :). I'm excited for next month to see his "stats". Everyone thinks he is older than he is. He continues to love doing whatever sissy is doing. He still carries his blanket every where and his Elmo. He loves going outside and every morning on our way to school he does bird in sign language when he hears them chirping.
