13 Months Old Already

Well my little miss K is already 13 months old. Where has the time gone??? This month she has enjoyed playing with her mom's Itouch--she thinks it is her own phone. She still loves to read books and studies them very carefully. She has 4 shiny teeth and almost a 5th popping in. She is learning Japanese and enjoys walking with her stroller now. She likes to take her babies for a ride through the living room and kitchen. I think this is going to be a great summer and I am really looking forward to watching Kenady explore new things.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Today is Kenady's 2nd St. Patty's day. Nick made corn beef and cabbage to celebrate the day. Kenady is almost 13 months old and still hasn't mastered the art of walking. She loves to walk along anything she can hold onto, but just doesn't want to let go yet. Everyone keeps telling me she will walk when she is ready--I'm just a little excited to go on a walk with my little girl. Her teeth have been coming in and I think she is also going through some growing pains so she has been a little bear sometimes. For the most part though she is still super silly and smiley and loves her mom and dad the most! I guess we better enjoy it while we are still the good guys :)

Today we went to the UNI Women's Basketball game to watch Isabelle perform at half-time. She did great and had a smile on her face the whole time. We then went and watched Liza in the championship game on her Club Volleyball team "the panthers". They ended up winning and Liza did a great job! Kenady loves being in the action and loves her cousins!

We can't wait for Spring!!!!!!!

Thursday was a beautiful day. I cancelled my eye appointment and hurried home to take Kenady for a walk in her stroller before she had to go to Kindermusik. I am really excited because this is her 1st summer where she will get to play outside. I can't wait!!

Today Lisa took Kenady's 1 year pics. She was very smiley and was being quite the poser. Here are sneak of what Lisa had on her blog. She always has a way of showing off her big blue eyes. We just got back from visiting Adelyn and she is such a doll. Hopefully next time we visit she will have her eyes open. Mel looks great--so did Justin. Nick and Justin are already talking about how the girls will not be dating and will be joining the nunnery. Oh boy!

Today Kenady got a new girlfriend. Baby Tagtow was born this afternoon. Kenady was so excited with the news that she peed herself. The named her Adelyn Elizabeth Tagtow.

Well Kenady had a very busy weekend. She went to the birthday party Friday night. Saturday she ate pancakes with dad. Then we went to church to see Uncle John be awarded the distinguished Alumni award. She was very proud. She only talked during church when they are talking about her uncle. Then she got to spend the night in Fairbank with her Grandma and Grandpa and some of her cousins. Then Nick and I went and got her in Cedar Rapids where she was visiting Grammie. Nick's Grandma just had surgery to remove the cancer in her lung. I could not believe how good she looked for just having surgery. She showed me her incsion which was gross, but other than that she looked great! We hope for a speed recovery for Grammie!
