Halloween 2010'

Each department gave the kids something different...they got so much fun stuff!
Klark getting ready for the parade!

Kenadys class Emma Schmeising, Jarrett Kies, Eric Wasendorf, Sam & Ben Harbaugh, and Kenady

Best Kids!
Just got done trick or treating with mom and Grandma Mary

This year we got off pretty cheap with costumes. Klarky was the lion that Kenady was when she was 1 and Kenady wore the same Raggedy Ann costume that I wore when I was her age. My mom made her a wig and got it to fit her. It was really cute and Kenady jazzed it up a little by wearing shades. Nick video taped the kids walking through work to all the different depts since I was on jury duty and then Saturday morning I took the kids with my mom downtown. We got to paint pumpkins, play games, and walk around to the stores and get Kenady. Kenady did a really good job and her favorite thing to pick out were Tootsie Rolls!

Krazy Klarky and Go Sailors!

Tonite Klark and I decided to go to Liza's volleyball game at Columbus. It was the 2nd round of districts and I love watching volleyball especially when my niece or someone I know is playing. Klark did really well last week so I decided to take him with me again. When we go there at 7:00 (Klarks usual bedtime) he was just about asleep. By the time the game was over and his Aunt Tanya gave him some cookies he was rearing ready to go. We got home and he was being so silly and just walking/crawling all over the place. He kept putting his Halloween basket on his head. He looks like a little Russian Baby it just cracks me up!!

10 Months Old!

Hi mama mama mama mama
So big just walkng around the couch!

Just hanging out having a few drinks!

Klark is 10 months old today that means 2 months till Christmas, but more importatly two months till my little mans first birthday. This last month has been so fun...he pulls hisself up on everything and even started walking behind his walker. He get so excited and is so proud of himself. He loves pulling himself up on his music table and playing music with his sister. He has also got to try new foods this month like chicken and more table food that we cut up really small. There isn't much this little man does not like. He is so smiley and says mama and dada now. He also likes to sit and clap when he likes something. We are trying to do sign language with him since his sister is such a pro. He pretty much just claps his hands for more but I figure that is close enough right now. Klark had his 9 month appt last week on 10/18/10 and he weighed in at 23.2 lbs (Kenady weighs 30.6) which was only in the 75%. He was 30.5 inches tall--95% and his head was at 19 inches 100%. He gets to share hats with his dad so that is a bonus. Klark's favorite toys this month are his music table and still loves his little people. He is also more interested in his sisters toys lately. I walked in to day care today after Kenady and I went to go get a drink and he was sitting at the table by hisself playing with crayons. I gave Kenady and him a kiss and walked back to my desk. As I was walking I was trying not to tear up of how big he has got. Everyone says it, but time does go by to fast...but it does just keep getting better!

Metz Grand Boys--Gabe almost two weeks old

First time all the Metz Grandbabies in one spot. Kenady was very impressed and wanted to hold Gabe aka Baby Gap. She kept calling him Baby Gap and giving him kisses...it was so cute and sweet. Maddie was glad Kenady came to visit and they had fun playing in the hospital room while the grandma's and aunt got to hold sweet little Gabe. This picture of the 4 of them gets me so excited for whats to come in the years to come!! Watch out Grandma and Grandpa!

Mr. Gabe Wiliam Metz is Born!

9.4 lbs and 21.5 inches long of loving!

As of 5:28 in the morning I am a new aunt to Mr. Gabe William Metz. He is just perfect and well worth the wait. Trista looks great already and I don't think my dad could be more excited to have another grandson. Gabe has evened out the boy-girl ratio for the Metz's and I can't wait to watch him and Klark togther. If it is anything like Kenady and Maddie we are in for a lot of fun and excitement in the years to come. Welcome to the world Gabe I love you so much already!

A Roller coaster week of emotions

Less than a month ago Grammies Birthday Party--there was lots of kisses and hugs that day for Grammy!
One of two picture I will treasure of Barb holding Kenady

The 2nd of Barb holding Klark--so glad my kids got to meet her!

This past Monday Grammie lost her battle to cancer. Fortunately, we were able to say our goodbyes to her and let her know how much we loved her. Sunday when we with her Nick said she opened her eyes when Klarky gave her a kiss. I have a feeling she was happy to see her grandbabies. Her eyes always lit up when her grandkids were around. I'm glad I got the chance to meet her and be a part of her life. I also hope that when Nick's and I parents get in a state where they can no longer take care of theirselves, I hope Nick and I can take as good as care of them as Glenda did for her mom. I admire Glenda for all the things she does for people in need. Thursday we will have the visitation and Friday will be the funeral where Nick and his cousins will be pallbearers and the great grand kids will give the gifts. As sad as I am to see Barb go I know she is in a better place.

On the other end of the spectrum I am waiting in the hospital for my sister-in-law to give birth to my new niece or nephew. I am so excited to be an aunt again and hold a sweet little baby. Hopefully soon I will be able to post some pictures of my beautiful little niece or nephew!
