Well for the most part this is was a great weekend. Friday night we went to the Boys Girls Club benefit and came away with some good silent auction prizes. Kenady was a big hit with everyone as always and got really excited hearing the auctioner. On Saturday we dropped Kenady off at Aunt Tanya's so she could spend the weekend with her Grandma Kane while we headed to the cities for my cousin Jill's wedding. We picked up dad at Tam and Joe's restaurant since he flew in for the wedding and then we all headed to DoLittles for lunch. The church for the wedding was just beautiful it was on Northwestern College campus and was so pretty. My cousin Jill looked so happy and she looked awesome. It was a really fun night and I got to hang out with my cousins that we don't get to see very often. We wish Jill and Doug all the best and thanks for the great time. Unfortunately Sunday morning we got the news that my Grandma June passed away. I have so many fond memories of my Grandma June it is hard to put in a single blog. She is the reason that I love to decorate for holidays-especially Christmas. She is the reason that I seem to go overboard on things. She is the reason that I can't just wrap a present without making it look like a piece of art. She is the reason that I love jewelry. My grandma has been sick for awhile, but I will never forget spending the night at her house and her singing us our prayers before bed. I will not forget how as soon as we walked in the house to see her she would have to feed us. She was the kind of person whoever met her always thought she was so classy and beautiful. I will miss my grandma a lot, but I know she is in a better place and I'm sure she is bossing my Grandpa around in heaven!
