My Little Swimmer

Kenady got to take a 6 week swim session this summer at Beaver Hills Country Club. They got to walk there from school and get lessons by the life guards that work there. I got to watch her a couple times and she is very brave. She learned how to blow bubbles and dive for ring toss. They even got her to go down the slide in the deep end. She loved it I'm not sure if it was part of her swimsuit obsession. This summer she has repeatedly had to wear a swim suit out in public or take one with her. She says My Suit My Suit...I'm not sure but I'm just glad she has more than one suit!

Both kids have gotten so big it's hard to keep up anymore. Klark is once again just as tall as some one year olds (Lauren Muller) and Kenady is turning into such a little lady. She loves purses, high heels, getting her toes polished, and playing with mom's makeup. We got to have a fun time over at the Tagtow's playing yard games, eating, drinking, and watching the kids play together. They all seem to get along really well. It will be fun to watch them grow up together!

29 Months Old

Kenady is getting really old these days her eye sight is really starting to go. She said her eyes hurt from the sun so next thing we know she went to the bathroom and came out with band-aids on our her eyes! She continues to be so silly...it just keeps getting better with her!

Well Klarky has surpassed his sisters weight when she was a year old (Kenady was 19lbs at her 1 year appt). Today he weighed in at 20.9lbs and 29.5" long. Dr. Sims said that he was even a little light for his height. I laughed...he is all boy that is for sure. The Dr. said everything looked great and we had a healthy beautiful boy (which I already knew). He did great during his shots he did one short little cry and that was it. I was more bothered by it then he was. Klark is def all over the place and will soon be perfecting his crawl. All he does right now is a backwards scoot. I was always worried when I was pregnant with Klark that I would not be able to love him as much as I loved Kenady or Nick, but I've learned that I have more love to give then I ever thought. I'm so blessed to have two beautiful healthy kids and I love them more than I ever thought I could love something.

K Buzz to the Rescue

The movie was great, but very exhausting!

Nick and I had been wanting to take Kenady to Toy Story 3 and she had to wear her Buzz LightYear pajamas to the movies and take her Buzz Lightyear Toy. She even had to wear her PJ's to day care and spent a whole two days only answering to K-Buzz and not Kenady. She puts her arms up in the air and pretends to fly around. She did a great job at the movie, except we went to the 3D one and she did not want to wear her glasses--she still enjoyed it though!

4th Of July

The rain stopped enough for the parade, but we didn't get to see any fireworks this year. We did go to Reinbeck again and watched the parade with the Metz's and Lebahn's. Kenady and Maddie are too funny together...except Maddie did not like the fire trucks loud sirens. Klark however it did not even phase him. Hopefully next year they can enjoy some fireworks!

This summer Kenady has a new obsession! Kittys! I'm not a huge fan--I like kittens but then they turn into cats which I"m not as fond of. This obsession all started when Kenady was out at her Grandma Mary's and the neighbors cat came to visit. Kenady would kneel down and say here kitty kitty and rub her leg. The kitty would rub up against her leg and she just loved it!! Well that was about a month ago and since then whenever we go to Grandma Mary's she gets out of the car and says here kitty kitty! Our neighbors also just had some kittys so we have had to take daily walks over to see if we can find them. Then today we had a shower for one of my best friends Tara Viet at her parents house. I was warned that their where baby kitties and they needed a good home. Kenady of course was excited to go over to their house and I couldn't believe her--she held the kitty and showed her brother. She is a lot braver than I am. She just got the biggest kick out of it and finally her and Viet had to take the Kitty back to the barn because Kenady was wearing it out (holding it a little to tight). She was sad to say goodbye to the kitty but she told us the kitty was tired. I'm afraid we might have to go back out to Shelly's house before the summer is over!

Kenady went to her first parade of the summer with her buddy Estelle! This year it was really fun watching her--she waved at people and clapped and pointed things out. I defiantly want to take her to another parade before the summer is up--hopefully one where they through candy though!

So I've really been slacking with blogging so hopefully I can get a few things in and try to stay on top of it the rest of the summer...we'll see how that goes! Well Friday the 25th of June Klark was officially 6 months old. He has just been the best baby! He is now sitting up all by hisself and scoots around (mostly backwards) all day. I'm excited to see how big he is at our next dr. appt. I'm guessing he's around 20 lbs (Kenady was 19.5 lbs at her 1 year appt). He is so happy and just loves his sister. He loves playing with her hair and she dances for him and he just cracks up!! The last 6 months have gone by way to fast--but like with Kenady it just keeps getting better! Happy 1/2 birthday little man--I love you to the moon and back!

Father's day weekend was a busy one. We went to the farmer's market, sidewalk sales, the park, out for lunch, and a birthday party all on Saturday for the cutest little Lauren I know who recently turned 1. Sunday we relaxed a bit and had Nick's family over to grill out and enjoy the weather! Cheers to Nick for being such a great dad! Our kids are very lucky to have Nick as a Dad!

The kids are so lucky to go to the daycare that they go to. They do so much fun stuff for the kids. Today as I was sitting at my desk one of the other mom's said if you get a chance you should go see your daughter. I asked if everything was alright and she said oh yes, but you should go peak on her. I walk in and there was my little princess sleeping with her glasses they made that morning. On of her teachers said she won't take them off. It was just too cute I had to go get my phone and take a picture. When I piced her up she was still rocking them and wore them till it was time to wash her face for bed that night!

Memorial Day Weekend

So far we have had a great Memorial Day weekend. Klark got to go swimming for the first time out at my boss's house. Kenady was not scared of the water at all and Klark is quite the little fish. He would just get his little legs going. We also got some sun in today and Klark hid in his bungaelow while Kenady played in her pool. Kenady also got her first fishing pool tonite and did a little fishing down at the campsite. Check out Klark's moves below!!

May 28th Klark has his first experience in the water! The kids were lucky enough to have a swim day at daycare at Connie and Russ Wasendorf's house. They have an amazing pool so it was great for Klark's first time in the water. Boy, did he love it---he kicked his legs and was not scared at all! He was like a fish just kicking around. Nick came out also to watch the kids and Kenady had no fear also she jumped right in and was not scared to get a little wet.
