Halloween!

Grandma Mary got the kids matching skelton shirts
On Main Street in Cedar Falls with my little puppy and flying Pony CowGirl Princes

Happy Halloween. This year Klark still wasn't really into the costume, but he ended up wearing his sisters puppy costume. Like the super mom I am I didn't try it on him until we were just get to leave and realized it was a little short...oh well he was still one of the cutiest puppies around. Kenady was changing her mind on a daily basis of what she was going to be but she ended up being a cowgirl princess who rode a flying horse. It worked and she looked cute. The kids got to trick treat in Hudson, around PFGBEST, and then on Main Street the day of Halloween. Their choose of candy was tootsie rolls (lame). This weekend Kenady also informed that we had robbers. I said oh yeah why do say that. I'm missing some toys mom---I guess she did notice I took a bunch of toys to goodwill. Whoops...

We love our horses...

one of our favorite things to do!

He just sits by me and we just talk about the horses...I love it

taking it all in

girls would die for those lashes

one of the beauties we watch

how fun...

One of my favorite things to do is to walk down to the horses with the kids. Klark probably likes it a little more than Kenady does these days, but she still comes sometimes. Today it was just Klark and I that went for a walk. We sat and just watched the horses. They are so beautiful and Klark thinks they are the neatest thing. It's these little moments that when I'm with him that make me realize how lucky I am and how sweet he is. Klark is def my lover...and I hope it never ends.

1st Trick or Treating of the Season

Little puppy by his fire truck
They let him get up in the fire truck

Kenady liked the pumpkin dog!

They were so cute going around--they would say thank you before they even got a piece of candy...may have been the practicing we did in the car when I told them to say thank you...

Kenady has changed her mind many times about what she has wanted to be for halloween from a unicorn, to a flying horse, to a princess. Today we went with a princess who had a flying horse. I thought Kenadys old puppy outfit would be perfect for Klark. I probably should have tried it on before we left to go trick or treating...but it worked. He was so cute and Kenady got a flying horse from the balloon guy! They are so funny...we will see what Kenady wants to be on Friday for her next Halloween party.

Kindergym

This is Kenadys third term of Kindergym and I have to say she is really getting into it this year. Her favorite things are the balance beams and playing with the scooters. This balance beam she was able to put a little hop in her step...she's too funny!

terrible attempt of a family picture

Nick was the godfather and Justin's sister Jaime was Gavin's godmather

Nick and I decided we wanted to take the kids away and just do something fun the four of us. We stayed at an indoor waterpark in Des Moines, went to the zoo the next day, cheesecake factory, and then headed up to Glidden to see the Smith family. Klark had a theme for the weekend which was watching girls...he flirted with the lifeguard at the pool and could not get his eyes off the cheerleaders at the Corey's football game. He loved watching Cassidy cheering and was such a little ham. It was nice to see Vince and Mindy and the kids. I really miss them being around a lot and was thankful we got to spend a little time with them. We came back Saturday night and then Sunday we got to go to Gavin Tagtow's baptism. Nick was asked to be the godfather and it was such an honor for him. Gavin is such a doll and it's hard to believe the little guy has gone through so much already in his short lived life. You would have never guessed by looking at him that he was in the hospital the first couple weeks of his life. What a sweetie...it was a big weekend for pictures so long post...
