This is our 2nd season of Kindergym and Kenady just loves it this winter. She does so much better listening and participating in the activities. The kids even did the Interlude Dance--the newest rave/cheer fro the UNI crowds. Next week they are going to be taping the Kindergym kids doing the Interlude which should be funny. This weeks theme was the olympics so they did hockey, track, skiing, gymnastics, and basketball. It was a lot of fun and Kenady sure acted like she was an olympic athlete!

Homecoming Week

The kids had homecoming week at school this last week. It consisted of silly hat day, pajama day, super hero day, and school colors day. Their theme for the month was sports and on Friday they gave awards to the kids with some bubbles. Kenady won super hero of the week and Klark won best pajamas. How fun is that?!?!?

Kenady had her 3 year dr. appt she weighed in at 31.2 lbs and 34 inches tall. She was in the 50% for her weight and 75% for her height. No shots--so it was a good trip with a sticker and sucker for being such a good girl :)

She just woke up and only had time to put on a dress and came downstairs to open her presents from mom and dad...Kenady has been celebrating her birthday since Dec 25...not sure when it will end :)

I can't believe Kenady is 3. I've said this in a lot of my posts but she is one of the sweetest little girls I know. She always says she loves us and gives lots of hugs. She has to kiss us goodbye if she goes upstairs and says sweet things like I'll miss you mommy if I just run to get milk. I also think she is incredibly smart and beautiful. She is a natural beauty and a girls girl. She loves clothes especially dresses, likes to be "fancy", and is very specific about her shoes and accessories. She loves to cuddle and knows just how to make you feel loved. She has super funny expressions and rolls her eyes at her dad which makes me crack up. She has truly changed our lives for the better and I am enjoying the ride that she has taken us on and can't wait for all the other stops along the way! Happy Birthday Kenady...I love you forever, I love you for always, as long as your living my sweet baby you'll be!!

3 is Fab

Kenady will be 3 on Sunday and we don't have work/school on Monday so we decided to take birthday treats to school on Friday. We went to Wal-Mart and she wanted Hello Kitty for all the girls and picked out Cars, Trains, and Diego for the boys. Since Christmas Kenady has had a pretty constant flow of presents coming in so I'm not sure if she totally understands her birthday is on Sunday. She woke up Friday morning and I had a cute birthday shirt for her to wear. She goes no mom I need my party dress. She wanted to wear her dress she wore to her birthday party. Then she had to wear a bow like mini mouse. She is so funny and opionated when it comes to her clothes. I can't believe my little girl will be 3 on Sunday--she is the sweetest little girl I know and is so loving and funny. I'm proud of who she is and can't wait to watch to see her grow into what she is meant to be...

This weekend it got to almost 35 degrees so Kenady and I went out to enjoy the weather. We have so much snow we kept getting stuck trying to make a snowman so we opted to go play on the swingset. We could only use the baby swing because the snow was almost hitting the two other swings and you couldn't move. Then Kenady had to go visit her kitty next door. Its no longer a kitty now but the cat still let her hold it and she was just tickled pink. When we first walked over to the neighbors she started running towards the kitties and they ran off. She looks at me and goes mom I miss those kittys tell them to come back. One of them finally came back after a little while and she could have not been more excited. She just smiled and held onto the kitty and was so happy!

Today we got Klarks hair cut for the first time. Since Viet was in Texas the next best thing was Lisa. She has been a family friend for a long time and even use to watch Shane and I. Klark was getting a little shaggy and it was time to make him look like a little boy again and not a sheep dog. He did so good, he just sat there and looked at hisself in the mirror. He barely flinched I was so proud because he usually can't sit still for more than 30 seconds. I am also proud of myself for holding back tears as my little man gets his first hair cut. I think he looks so handsome!
