Well today Kenady got an anniversary present for mom and dad. She got a Barbie Jammin Jeep! Nick took it out of the box before he went golfing and she was not happy that he left and did not finish assembling it. When Nick got back from golf he got it together and Kenady listened to music while sitting in her jeep. She hasn't figured out the gas yet, which is probably a good thing. She probably would have stayed in it all night if we would have let her. I think this will be a lot of fun at our new house in the next couple of years!

Kenadys first Battle Wound
Well we just got back from Urgent Care from our first battle wound. Kenady was trying to pull some toys out of the corner and the lamp fell on her head. The corner of the lamp made a gash in her head and started bleeding. I of course started crying while trying to through some frozen food on her head. Nick held her while we drove to Urgent Care and by the time we were in the waiting room she wanted to walk around and play. They ended up glueing her wound back together instead of getting stiches. She was a tough girl a lot tougher than Mom!!

Happy Father's Day and Happy 16 month to Kenady
Happy Father's Day Dad!Before swim class on Sat.
Kenady found Carter's big Jake and was determined to ride it!
Happy 16 month Birthday Kenady!!
This weekend we were busy busy getting the house ready for the open house today. Hopefully, keep your fingers crossed we will have an offer this week!! Nick did get a little break this weekend and came and watched Kenady's swim class and then Sunday we enjoyed brunch at My Verona. Highly recommended--it was very good! This month Kenady has become a lot more daring--she likes to crawl up on the furniture and stand up and give her mom a heart attack. She still loves her books, but this month she has started to draw and wants to write all the time-- when we let her. She also got a new set of crayons and a winnie the pooh coloring book. She did really good till she decided she was hungry and started eating her crayons. We will see what next month brings--I want to wish Nick, my dad, Nick's Dad, Rex and all of Kenady's Uncles-Shane, Hans, & John a very happy father's day. Kenady is very lucky to have such loving uncles, grandpa's and of course the best dad. Nick is greatest father and anyone that knows him I'm sure would agree!

Flower Power!
Kenady spent last Friday out at my mom and dad's for the day instead of going to daycare. Mom always has the camera out anymore when the grand kids are around. I wonder where I got it from. She got some cute pics of Kenady in the garden, but these are two of my favorite...
On a side note as I'm writing this blog Kenady and Nick are sitting together on the couch and Kenady is eating noodles out of Nick's mouth like on lady and the tramp. Those two crack me up!!

Fell asleep on the 5 min car ride home
Well today was the day we've been waiting for. I was a little nervous. Nick was busy getting the house ready to sell so I asked mom to come along to take some pictures. This morning I layed out all her swimsuits and she picked her polkat dot bikini that she got from Aunt Tanya. She seemed pretty excited then we got in the water and she held on for dear life. She soon loosened up and had some fun, but the class was just a little too long for her. By the end she was ready to be done! We will see how next week goes!

My Girly Girl
Kenady use to pull her bows and ribbons out of her hair, but lately she has become a little fashionista. She likes putting head bands and bows in her hair. She also likes to walk around with her purse and wear mom's oversided shades. She would not take her shades off last night before getting ready for bed. It was too cute!!

Kenady & Madilyn
We got to have Madilyn stay the night last night so her mommy could get some rest. Trista had her gullbladder removed Friday and needed some much needed rest. So we were lucky enoough to bring Madilyn home with us for a sleep over. They did really good both of them. Except Kenady thought she was a baby and needed a pacifier also since Madi had one. Kenady was very loving, but got a little jealous when mom or dad was holding Madi. She wanted to be in on the action. I'm sure this is the first of many sleep overs for these two cutie patooties!

Busy Busy
Trying to get a pic of her 15 month shots.
She's better now that she doesn't have to see the wild kingdom animals

I've really been lacking on the blogging lately. Now that Kenady is an official walker she has been keeping us busy. At her 15 month check up last week she was in the 75% for her height and head and 25% for her weight. She has been very consistent and the doctor said she is going to be tall and skinny. Lucky! She has really become a jabber jaws lately and it is quite entertaining sometimes embarrassing. She kept me running around at Liza's 8th grade graduation last week. She also tried to escape her stroller when we went to My Waterloo Days. This was after she got scared at the Omaha Mutual Wild Kingdom exhibit. We also got a pool and we are waiting for the perfect day to soak up the rays and do a little swimming. We need to practice for our swim lessons that start next week! Being Kenadys mom just keeps getting better!
