Lisa, Katie, Jill, and I--shout out to my blog follower Lisa!
Well for the most part this is was a great weekend. Friday night we went to the Boys Girls Club benefit and came away with some good silent auction prizes. Kenady was a big hit with everyone as always and got really excited hearing the auctioner. On Saturday we dropped Kenady off at Aunt Tanya's so she could spend the weekend with her Grandma Kane while we headed to the cities for my cousin Jill's wedding. We picked up dad at Tam and Joe's restaurant since he flew in for the wedding and then we all headed to DoLittles for lunch. The church for the wedding was just beautiful it was on Northwestern College campus and was so pretty. My cousin Jill looked so happy and she looked awesome. It was a really fun night and I got to hang out with my cousins that we don't get to see very often. We wish Jill and Doug all the best and thanks for the great time. Unfortunately Sunday morning we got the news that my Grandma June passed away. I have so many fond memories of my Grandma June it is hard to put in a single blog. She is the reason that I love to decorate for holidays-especially Christmas. She is the reason that I seem to go overboard on things. She is the reason that I can't just wrap a present without making it look like a piece of art. She is the reason that I love jewelry. My grandma has been sick for awhile, but I will never forget spending the night at her house and her singing us our prayers before bed. I will not forget how as soon as we walked in the house to see her she would have to feed us. She was the kind of person whoever met her always thought she was so classy and beautiful. I will miss my grandma a lot, but I know she is in a better place and I'm sure she is bossing my Grandpa around in heaven!

What a Beautiful Day!
Today Kenady and I went to the park for the first time while daddy was golfing. Kenady really enjoys being outside. She loved the swing and the horse. Everytime I tried to take her off the horse she reached to get back on. She would hit her feet on the horse to make me push faster and she would kiss the top of the horses head. She is such a cutie patootie!

Oompa Loompa
Kenady giving Liza a good job hug!

I think this is such a good picture of the three of them.
Tonite we went and watched our niece Liza in Willy Wonka. She was Violet and turned into a big blueberry. Kenady got excited when this happened. Kenady did pretty good and liked the music--she just doesn't like to sit still and got a little restless towards the end. It was a really cute play--and was a good test for when we go to Thomas the Train next week.

14 Months Old little poop scoop
Well on Monday Kenady turned 14 months old. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. She is such a doll and I love watching her become her little self. This month she has become a little more daring with walking and standing up, but just not quite sure. She is still really into books and with golf season coming up she will start that as well. Her dad has already bought her two sets of clubs and Nick told me he wanted to strap her carseat to our golf cart and then she could go golfing with him. I don't know about that, but whatever. Back to our little 14 month old--she left us a nice little birthday poop. She had just got done feeding herself and she was in her diaper before getting ready to take a bath before bed. She was in her usual spot reading her books when I looked over at her she had her diaper off. I say to Nick what happened to her diaper--he doesn't know well she had it off because she pooped and it was bothering her. She decided it would be fun to play with her birthday poop. It was gross, but I couldn't help not to laugh and take a picture of our silly little girl. P.S. I tossed the book she was reading in the garbage.

Hoppy Easter!
We had a great Easter this year. The night before Easter we went to Jack and Arnies with the Metz's and grilled our own steaks. Kenady got Easter presents from her Uncle Shane and Aunt Trista and she had fun opening them when she got home. Then Sunday morning I hid Kenadys Easter baster underneath her blanket. She just kept peeking under it and smiling. Finally she went all for it. Of all the goodies in her Easter basket she liked the Puffs the most. She didn't care about any of her toys or clothes she got. We then got all dressed up and went to church in Dike. Kenady took pictures with her boyfriend and was very active to say the least during church. We then headed to Fairbank where Kenady got to have her own Easter egg hunt with the assistance of her cousin Carter. They then went outside and looked for Carter's eggs. She was really into her eggs, especially since they looked like little chickens!!

Hoppity Hop Hop
Grandma and I took Kenady out for lunch and then to visit the Bunny Rabbit on Thursday. It was so funny she got so excited when she saw him, she started clapping and wanting to go to him while we were waiting in line. As soon as she got her turn she sat with him and looked like somebody cut her leg off. So we decided to go up to the store and then try again. As soon as I picked her up and we headed up the mall she wanted to go back. So we went back and she did the same thing---got super excited until she sat down. Oh well!

Kenady and Logan
We had a nice dinner at the O.P. tonite with some good friends. Kenady and Logan entertained each other and their relationship still seems to be going strong!
