Well Kenady had her 1st Christmas and it really was a great couple days. Kenady had a good time opening presents even though she was more excited in the ribbons and paper than the actual presents. We have a lot to be thankful this year and Kenady definitely tops the list!!

Birthday Partying!

Today we celebrated Uncle Shane's 25th birthday and Carter's birthday a couple days early. We went to Applebees for Uncle Shane's and then we went to Chuckie Cheese for Carter's. Kenady was pretty amused by all the action. We wish two of our favorite boys a very happy birthday!!

Santa!!

We went to Fairbank to visit Santa on Saturday. Santa really resembled Kenady and her cousins!! As you can see Kenady wasn't too insterested in Santa. She had more fun when she got to her great grandmas house so she could play.

Big Day

Thursday Dec 4th we took Kenady to her 9 month doctor appt. Dr. Sims thought she was just perfect. She is in the 75% for the size of her head, 25% for her weight and the 95% for her height. We got a sheet of what to expect the next few months and one of the things was that they would start saying mama and dada. That night Kenady started saying MaMa!! I was so excited!! This pic is after she got home and took a bath. She only had to get one shot for the flu shot. I tried to take a picture of her bandaid but she wouldn't straighten her legs. She did think her mohawk was cool!!

Kenady attended her first basketball game tonite. Luckily we get suite tickets so she can crawl around and be crazy. It also helps that Dad can have a couple of beers during the game--he said it makes the basketball games a little more exciting. I guess our matching shirts weren't good luck because we lost in overtime. Oh well it was still fun. Maybe we will sport them again for UNI's football playoff game Saturday!! Go PANTHERS!

We had a busy day visiting both Grandma's houses and then going to the hockey game. We have a lot to be thankful for and our truly blessed to have the family and friends that we do. Here's to a great start of the holiday season and many more to be shared with friends and family!

Well the Kane household wasn't sure if we were going to go to any Thanksgivings or not. All 3 of us got sick and Wednesday night at about 8:30 Kenady and I decided we better make a few goodies to take. Kenady is a great helper!
